Jarrold is a reputed business firm with a rich history of 240 years handed down over through seven generations. It started in 1770 as a draper and grocer shop at Woodbridge, Suffolk. In 1815, it expanded to printing and in 1823; it expanded to Norwich as a book and stationery seller.

The Quamby Homestead estate is at good hands, since, both of the owners have a good background in Hospitality and Event Management. William and Ailsa have converted this picturesque estate with old Victorian model residences, large gardens and beautiful landscapes the most desired Warrnambool accommodation. He constructed the Yarra Valley along with Yering Station. The first house was build in this time, on the Croquet Lawn. The present Homestead was established in the year 1888.
